Syria and Humanitarian Aid

The International Rescue Committee has conducted a survey that will (most likely) put 22.4 Million people in Syria in 2014 in a postition for starvation and without housing. The UN has announced it's biggest ever appeal for $6.5bn or (6,500,000,000) for humanitarian aid for Syria. It is projected by the UN two thirds of Syria will be in need for supplies and other things in 2014. A quarter of a million are already cut off from any help at all and are in the worst condition of the needy already. World leaders need to step up and meet the human needs that exist.

No Necular Wars for Iran

In a recent television interview the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani vowed that Iran will never seek neuclear weapons. This interview took place days before the UN National Assembly. The Iranian president Hassan Rouhani started that he has "complete authority" to negotiate a neuclear deal with the United States and other Western powers. A direct quote from the president of Iran, "We have time and again said that under no circumstances would we seek any weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons, nor will we ever". Many people see this as a diplomatic thaw with the West after decades of acimony.

Gordon Robber of Playoff Position

On Saturday at Richmond International Raceway Jeff Gordon was so call "cheated" in a way of clinching play off chances to win the Sprint Cup. Gordon was closing in on play off chances in the last 7 laps until Michael Waltrip Racing's, Clint Bowyer got into a spin out and caused a caution flag for the last 7 laps. After the fact, Bowyer and teammate Brian Vickers made unnecessary pit stops that allowed Joey Logano to pass them on the track. This allowed for Logano to gain one extra point than Gordon and ruined his race for the Sprint Cup. Yes, the more was "technically" fair but Gordon was furious when he found out that the team minipulaed the win for Logano. Gordon is apealing this with the NASCAR league and is saying that his team should still be in this. Gordon stated that if he knew this would've happened he could've been more agressive on the second restart and shoved other cars out of the way or even wrecked them but he deemed it not necessicary under his veiws of sportsmanship.

Texas High School Stabbing

On Wednesday September 4th one student was reportedly killed and up to three others injured by a man with a knife at Spring High School just north of Houston. The student who passed away was 17 and officials are to get information on why this gruesome spree happened. Reporters are saying three students may be linked to the murder and are being held by police to be questioned. No other information has been released at this point so people are still waiting on answers on why this happened. Some say it could've been an act of gang violence because of the schools distance from the Houston area. Personally i think it may have something to do with bullying and trying to get back at someone.
